Any female Gryffindor students caught in male dormitories after curfew will immediately cost their House twenty points and be assigned detention with me every Saturday for a month. The males who are hosting these little get-togethers will also lose twenty points and be assigned detentions with me every Sunday for a month.

This is a school, you are here to learn. It is not a slumber party with your boyfriend. I will be talking to the other professors about charming the stairways into the male dormitories to slide like the female ones do if this keeps up.

(OOC: Shalice knows her House, and knows that a lot of Gryffindors confuse bravery with stupidity. She won't actually have them expelled for being morons, but she will have them in detention possibly until they graduate. :D)

I hate that ghost. Hate. We really need to do something about her before she figures out a way to murder us all in our sleep. Or while we're awake. You know she'd like that better.

Is there anyone who can explain to me why, when I touched the shower knobs this morning, I had a vision of myself covered in slime, only just in time to put up a shield to protect myself from said slime?

For those of you not following, my question is simple:

WHY THE HELL IS THERE SLIME INSTEAD OF WATER COMING OUT OF MY SHOWER?

Shalice, reclusive grump that she's been lately, still managed to grab presents for people. Having been brought up polite, she got presents for each staff member so no one would feel left out. For the staff she knows, there are more personal gifts. For those she doesn't know as well... well, she kind of guessed a little, or gave something practical. Her family has lots of money. She prefers to spend it on others.

Oh man, last night was something else. My first day of classes was... not as awesome as I'd imagined. Some of these students are little monsters. On the bright side, I found a few students with genuine gifts. I am thinking of starting some kind of advanced class to be held once a week after regular classes, either before or after dinner. These kids have no idea what kind of power they have, or how to deal with it and they need to learn how to control it. I feel it is very important they learn. Merlin knows I've had experience with that. If no one has any objections, I'd be teaching them things like Occlumency and other mental power control. Mostly defensive things. No way am I teaching Legilimency to any of them, they'd probably use it to figure out who likes who and then gossip about it. Ugh. Does this sound like a good idea? If any of you would like to help, or think you have an ability that would be useful to teach them, by all means let me know. I'd really love any advice you can give me.
